ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a machine for stacking Cups, comprising a conveyor stretch leading from a cup receiving station to a cup stacking station, over which stretch the cups are transported by powered endless belts, and said conveyer stretch being divided into at least a first and a following second conveyer section, in which the said following conveyer section is driven at a higher conveying speed, and the cups on all conveyer sections are held and transported in each case between parallel stringers of pairs of conveyer belts, all stringers of the individual pairs of belts travelling at the same speed and over powered pulleys with axes at right angles to the direction of conveyance.
