The invention pertains to a machine tool system for machining symmetrical and asymmetrical workpieces. The proposed system consists of three basic modules: the bed (3), the magnetically operated clamping device (7) and a magnet holding ring (11). The bed (3) is equipped with clamping members (6) which are preferably designed as hybrid magnets, i.e. they act as combined electro- and permanent magnets. The magnetically operated unit consists of a base plate (8), the support ring (9) and the clamping plate (10). While in operation the entire clamping device (7) rests on the bed (3); when being displaced and positioned this clamping device (7) is held suspended by the magnet holding ring (11), using lifting magnets (13), while displacement and positioning are done by means of driving magnets
L'invention concerne un système de machine-outil pour l'usinage mécanique de pièces symétriques et asymétriques. Ledit système comprend trois modules de base: le bâti (3), l'unité de serrage (7) à commande magnétique, et un anneau de logement d'aimants (11). Des éléments de serrage (6) prévus dans le bâti (3) se présentent de préférence sous forme d'aimants hybrides, c'est-à-dire qu'ils agissent en tant qu'électro-aimants et aimants permanents combinés. L'unité magnétique est constituée d'une plaque de base (8), d'un anneau support (9) et de la plaque de serrage (10). Pendant l'usinage, la totalité de l'unité de serrage (7) repose sur le bâti (3). Pendant le déplacement et le positionnement, cette unité de serrage (7) est maintenue en suspension par l'anneau de logement d'aimants (11), sous l'action d'aimants de levage (13). Le réglage et le positionnement s'effectuent au moyen d'aimants d'entraînement (14).
