A B S T R A C T Compounds are described of formula (I) Image (I) and salts thereof, wherein R1 a methyl, ethyl or isopropyl group; R2 is -H, -OH, substituted -OH or a phosphate ester group) and R3 is -H, or R2 and R3 together with the carbon atom to which they are attached represent a >C=0 group and OR4 is a group OR5 as defined above; with the proviso that either R2 represents a group OR5 (where OR5 is an alkoxy group OR7 in which R7 represents a C1-6 alkyl substituted by a halogen atom or C2-6 alkyl interrupted by -0- or -S-) or at least one of R2 and OR4 is a phosphate ester group or a group OCONR10R11 (where R10 and R11 are -H or C1-4 alkyl). These compounds may be used for controlling insect, acarine, nematode or other pests.
