A scalable, multi-game, single-draw lottery operating platform based on a single number selection system and method. The methodology presented is designed to optimize the operational efficiency and financial profitability in the draw-centric portfolios of "on-line" lotteries. It involves a comprehensive system for the sale and management of multiple games with differing play formats, odd levels and prize structures through a compounded wager management structure. Supported by the programmed implementation of a dedicated random number generator application for specifically crafted platform games, the aggregated daily results for the entire draw-centric lottery portfolio are produced in a single process. This consolidated platform consolidates the complete range of administrative tasks that lottery jurisdictions currently undertake on a game-by-game basis. Accordingly, once implemented, this system and method would obviate the need to account for wagers, prizes, commissions, refund credits and forfeitures, respectively for each draw game product category, on an individual basis.
