The invention provides a unique interactive play experience carried out utilizing a toy "wand" (100) and/or other actuation/tracking device (321, 325). In one embodiment the wand (100) incorporates a wireless transmitter (150) and motion-sensitive circuitry (115) adapted to actuate the transmitter in response to particular learned wand motions. The wand allows play participants to electronically and "magically" interact with their surrounding play environment simply by pointing, touching and/or using their wands (100) in a particular manner to achieve desired goals or produce desired effects (376, 377, 378). Various wireless receivers or actuators (362) are distributed throughout the play facility to support such wireless interaction and to facilitate full immersion in a fantasy experience in which participants can enjoy the realistic illusion of practicing, performing and mastering "real" magic.
L'invention concerne une expérience unique de jeu interactif réalisée par utilisation d'un jouet sous forme de baguette (100) et/ou d'un autre dispositif d'actionnement/poursuite (321, 325). Dans un mode de réalisation, la baguette (100) incorpore un émetteur sans fil (150) et un circuit (115) sensible à un mouvement conçu pour actionner ledit émetteur en réponse à des mouvements particuliers de la baguette appris. Ladite baguette permet à des participants de jeu d'interagir électroniquemant et magiquement avec leur environnement de jeu simplement par pointage, toucher et/ou utilisation de leurs baguettes (100) de manière particulière afin d'atteindre le but souhaité ou de produire les effets désirés (376, 377, 378). Des émetteurs-récepteurs ou des actionneurs sans fil (362) variés sont répartis sur l'installation de jeu afin de supporter l'interaction sans fil et de faciliter l'immersion complète dans une expérience de fantaisie dans laquelle les participants peuvent profiter de l'illusion réaliste de pratiquer, exécuter et de maîtriser une expérience de magie réelle.
