ABSTRACT The setting time of quick-setting magnesium oxide-ammonium phosphate concretes is extended by the addition of specified oxy-boron compounds such as sodium borate. The incorporation of the oxy-boron compound in the comp- osition has also been found to increase the extended or overall compressive strength of the composition.
