A tabletop operable clamping device is disclosed in which the device comprises two levers, being an upper lever-A and a lower lever-B. Upper lever-A and lower lever-B carry magnet-A and magnet-B which are so mounted on the respective upper and lower levers that like-poles of the magnets lie facing each other to exert a repulsive magnetic force against each other, and thereby urge relative movement apart between upper lever- A and lower lever-B about a pivot axis. This pivoting movement is effectible while the device lies on a tabletop surface.
La présente divulgation porte sur un dispositif de serrage de table, lequel est formé de deux leviers, à savoir un levier supérieur (A) et un levier inférieur (B), munis d'aimants (A et B). Ceux-ci sont montés sur les leviers de telle sorte que leurs pôles respectifs correspondants se font face, exerçant ainsi une force de répulsion magnétique réciproque qui écarte les leviers A et B de leur axe de pivotement. Cette action peut s'exercer alors que le dispositif repose sur une table.
