A magnetic base mounted flashlight holder provides for the hands free holding of a flashlight enabling the user to perform any task using both hands freely while keeping the area of interest illuminated. The base contains a permanent fixed magnet under the base itself. The top of the base has a centered rotation mechanism system attached to the base. The rotation mechanism system member is centrally located in the base, having an upstanding opening housing end, the housing end contain a magnet which is mounted centrally into the housing and on the surface of the housing for receiving a magnetic object such as; a flashlight having a magnetic end. The rotation mechanism mounted inside the base containing a mating ball and a socket for engaging the mating ball.
