Magnetic Bearing Controller With Signal Injection and Extraction ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Active magnetic bearings systems are commonly used to support the shaft assembly of rotary machines. The active magnetic bearing system is comprised of several elements including a magnetic bearing and electronic control circuits. Electrical connections between selected elements of the active magnetic bearing system allow the passage of electrical signals between the elements. Heretofore, active magnetic bearing control systems have not included on-line data acquisition systems which function during operation of the magnetic bearing. This invention provides a system for extracting and storing data related to the active magnetic bearing system, in digital form. - 1 -
