ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A magnetic circuit comprises two ferromagnetic half-shells which are rigidly held therebetween and provided with central cores forming an air-gap therebetween. At least one of the half- shells includes a thin wall which is near the air-gap and perforated gradually and partially thereby obtaining a predetermined reluctance for the magnetic circuit. The machining and the piercing of holes in the thin wall is accomplished by automatic adjusting of emission parameters of a laser beam in function of successive comparisons between the measured reluctance and the predetermined. reluctance.
