66147-102 ABSTRACT A connector for electrically connecting an electrical lead to a terminal of a battery is described. The connector includes a mounting member and a contact member. The mounting member is connectable to a terminal post of a battery and includes a mounting magnetic section and a receptive recess through which at least a port of the battery terminal can be inserted. The contact member can be connected to an electric lead and includes an electrical conductive section to conduct electricity to the electric lead and a magnetic or magnetically attractive section to couple the contact member to the mounting member such that electricity may be conducted from the battery terminal post to said electric lead.
