ABSTRACT A magnetic electrical-to-pressure converter having a nozzle for providing an output pressure based upon an electrical input signal, a magnetic operator associated with the nozzle and responsive to the electrical input signal for controlling the pressure within the nozzle as a function of the electrical input signal, and an electrical signal generator connected to the magnetic operator for energizing the magnetic operator with an electrical reference signal to bring the magnetic operator to a predictable predetermined magnetic state and for providing the electrical input signal.
