-1- Abstract: The invention relates to a device for improving the performance of an engine. The device is positioned adjacent to a fuel line for the engine and comprises a housing made of non-magnetic material having a longitudi- nally extending passage for receiving the fuel line, an attachment for attaching the housing to the fuel line, and a magnet contained in the housing. One of the poles of the magnet is located adjacent and parallel to the longitudinally extending passage. No other magnets are disposed about the fuel line in the region of the device. The device improves the fuel efficiency of the engine and reduces harmful emissions.
