A MAGNETIC HEAD PRESSURE PAD CAPABLE OF BEING FABRICATED WITH CO-EXTRUSION TECHNIQUES Abstract of the Disclosure A pressure pad for urging film into contact with a magnetic head in a camera, of the type having apparatus for interaction with a magnetic memory on a film, is fabricated using a Santoprene? or Kraton? material as a core material and polyethylene as a coating material. These materials were selected because of mechanical properties and because they are suitable for a co-extrusion process. In addition, these materials have minimum interaction with the film. The coating material adheres effectively to the core material minimizing problems due to delamination.
