A shuffling device for playing cards and method of shuffling cards is provided where a first group of cards is moved within the device to form a randomized second group of cards. The device comprises moving parts that assist in the movement of cards within the shuffling device; a processor in informational connection with the shuffling device; a sensor which detects at least one of speed, distance and force of at least one moving part and provides a signal to the processor regarding detection of at least one of speed, distance and force; and the processor containing a program that interprets the signal to detect significant variations in at least one of speed, distance and force of the moving part.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de battage de cartes utilisé pour jouer aux cartes, ainsi qu'un procédé de battage de cartes dans lequel un premier groupe de cartes est déplacé à l'intérieur du dispositif de sorte à former un deuxième groupe de cartes aléatoire. Le dispositif selon l'invention comprend: des parties mobiles permettant le déplacement des cartes à l'intérieur du dispositif de battage; un processeur en connexion informationnelle avec le dispositif de battage; et un capteur servant à détecter au moins la vitesse, la distance ou la force d'au moins une partie mobile, et à fournir au processeur un signal relatif à la détection de la vitesse, la distance ou la force au moins, le processeur contenant un programme qui interprète ce signal afin de détecter des variations significatives de la vitesse, la distance ou la force au moins de la partie mobile.
