ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a magnetic printing member comprising a ferromagnetic material forming a magnetic layer on a support which comprises an electrically conductive material, whereby the member is adapted in use to discharge electric charges at all times from substantially the entire surface of the magnetic layer through the thickness of the magnetic layer to the electrically conductive material, said surface being adapted to record a magnetic image thereon and print a substrate using a ferromagnetic toner, which is useful in magnetic copying e.g. magnetic textile printing.
