The invention relates to a magnetic rail brake device (4) of a railway vehicle, comprising at least one brake magnet (2) that is provided with a magnetic coil body (8) on which several magnetic members (6) are movably retained, and at least one fastening strip (32, 34) for fixing the brake magnet (2) to additional components of the magnetic rail brake device (4) such as anchor arms or flanges of actuation cylinders, said at least one fastening strip (32, 34) extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the magnetic coil body (8) and being immediately connected thereto. According to the invention, the fastening strip (32, 34) is made of a diamagnetic or paramagnetic material, whereby the magnetic field is weakened or only slightly strengthened such that the magnetic leakage flux acting on the magnetic coil body (8) is significantly reduced, resulting in an advantageously great magnetic retention force.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de frein électromagnétique sur rails (4) d'un véhicule ferroviaire, comprenant au moins un aimant de freinage (2) présentant un corps de bobine magnétique (8) sur laquelle plusieurs organes magnétiques (6) sont maintenus déplaçables, ainsi qu'au moins une réglette de fixation (32, 34) s'étendant parallèlement à la direction longitudinale du corps de bobine magnétique (8), associée directement à ce corps, servant à la fixation de l'aimant de freinage (2) sur d'autres composants dudit dispositif de frein électromagnétique (4), par exemple, sur des bras de retenue ou sur des brides des cylindres de commande. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que la réglette de fixation (32, 34) est en un matériau diamagnétique ou paramagnétique. Ceci provoque un affaiblissement du champ magnétique ou n'entraîne qu'un faible accroissement de ce dernier, de sorte que le flux de dispersion magnétique sur le corps de bobine magnétique est considérablement réduit, ce qui conduit à l'obtention d'une force de retenue magnétique avantageusement élevée.
