A MAGNETIC READING AND/OR WRITING DEVICE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a magnetic reading and/or writing device comprising a guide for a magnetic data carrier and a magnetic head support. The magnetic head support comp- rises a stirrup piece movable in translation with respect to a fixed piece and a magnetic head rotatable mounted on said mobile stirrup piece. The mobile stirrup piece is urged resiliently to press said magnetic head against the magnetic carrier.
