ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Magnetic recording tape comprising a flexible substrate with magnetic particles secured to the substrate by means of a binder comprising a reaction product of a diisocyanate with a blend of a chain extender and a hydroxyl terminated polycarbonate, said binder having high tensile strength, is hydrolytically stable, and is soluble in selected commercial solvents.
