This invention provides a technique that, while providing safety and quantitativity, can continuously acquire magnetic resonance images at short repeat time intervals. Magnetic resonance signals are continuously acquired by applying excitation pulses at repeat time intervals of not more than 60 sec using a magnetic resonance contrast medium containing polyethylene glycol containing 13C in a higher proportion than natural abundance, or a compound labeled with the polyethylene glycol.
