MAGNETIC SEPARATOR Abstract of the Disclosure A magnetic separator in the form of a cylin- drical duct of circular cross section having opposite end sections and a radially enlarged central section. Within the central section is arranged an axially ex- tending cylindrical magnet assembly. The diameter of the central section is determined in relation to the diameter of the magnet assembly so that the flow rate throughout the duct is generally constant.
