An induction controlled voltage regulator, primarily for high-voltage regulation, includes a magnetic circuit based upon a core (1) having one or more flux paths or legs (2) surrounded by high and low voltage windings (3, 15). The leg (2) is divided in at least two branches (2A, 2B), at least one (2B) of which includes a regulation arrangement with a zone (5) of amendable permeability. The amendment of the permeability may be made by a magnetic rod (4) being movable into and out from the zone (5) formed as an airgap. Another embodiment for such an amendment includes the use of a regulator winding acting on the magnetic flux passing through the leg branch (2B). A compensator winding can be arranged around the leg branch (2B) involving the zone (5) of amendable permeability. The compensator winding is electrically connected in series with capacitor means. At least one of the windings is wound by a high- voltage cable comprising a conductor surrounded by an inner semiconductor, an insulator layer and an outer semiconductor.

L'invention porte sur un régulateur de tension commandé par induction, prévu à l'origine pour la régulation haute tension, et comprenant un circuit magnétique constitué à la base d'un noyau (1) possédant une ou plusieurs voies ou branches (2) de flux entourées d'enroulements (3, 15) haute et basse tension. La branche (2) est divisée en au moins deux ramifications (2A, 2B), dont au moins une (2B) comprend un dispositif de régulation pourvu d'une zone (5) de perméabilité modifiable. La modification de la zone de perméabilité peut être effectuée par une tige magnétique (4) pouvant se déplacer dans et en dehors de la zone (5) de type entrefer. Selon une autre réalisation, on utilise pour cette modification un enroulement de régulateur agissant sur le flux magnétique traversant la ramification (2B). Un enroulement de compensateur peut être placé autour de la ramification (2B) incluant la zone de perméabilité modifiable. L'enroulement du compensateur est raccordé électriquement en série à un condensateur. Au moins un des enroulements est enroulé autour d'un câble haute tension comprenant un conducteur entouré d'un semi-conducteur interne, d'une couche isolante et d'un semi-conducteur externe.
