ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a magnetic tape cassette. In this magnetic tape cassette, side plate portions of an upper half are each provided with a bearing member which has a bearing aperture of circular arc shape larger than a semicircle and side plate portions at both ends of a front lid are each provided with at the inner side a rotary shaft which has a diameter larger than the diameter of the bearing aperture, in which the front lid can rotatably be mounted on the upper half by inserting the above rotary shafts into the bearing apertures of the bearing members formed on the upper half, thus facilitating the succeeding assembly work of the tape cassette.
