Description

Abstract In a magnetic valve, the closing member (30) is carried by a solenoid plunger (28). The latter is displaceable on excitation against a housing end face (18) carrying the valve seat (19) and, on de-energisation, by a return spring (36). The return spring (36) is disposed in the longitudinal bore (29) of the solenoid plunger (28). The counter- bearing for the return spring and fixed with respect to the housing is formed by a strut (34) which passes through the longitudinal bore (29) as well the longitudinal holes (35) in the solenoid plunger wall and it is held in the solenoid plunger tube (5). In this way, under otherwise the same conditions, higher magnetic forces can be produced between the solenoid plunger (28) and the housing end face (18). Single Figure
