Magnetic circuit that has (a) a source of magnetic flux which includes an electromagnet or one or more permanent magnets, (b) at least two oppositely polarisable pole extension bodies associated with the magnetic flux source, the bodies being disc, wheel, roller or similarly shaped with an outer circumferential surface and held rotatable about respective axes of rotation, and (c) a ferromagnetic counter body which is arranged to cooperate with the pole extension bodies such as to provide an external flux path for the magnetic flux when in magnetic proximity or contact with the circumferential surface of the pole extension bodies, which is characterised in that the magnetic flux source is held stationary relative to the rotatable pole extension bodies.

L'invention concerne un circuit magnétique possédant (a) une source de flux magnétique qui comporte un électro-aimant ou bien un ou plusieurs aimants permanents, (b) au moins deux corps d'extension de pôle polarisable de manière opposée associés à la source de flux magnétique, les corps étant en forme de disque, de roue, de galet ou similaire avec une surface circonférentielle externe et maintenus en rotation autour de leurs axes de rotation respectifs, et (c) un corps opposé ferromagnétique qui est disposé pour coopérer avec les corps d'extension de pôle de manière à constituer un trajet de flux externe pour le flux magnétique lorsqu'il se trouve à proximité magnétique ou bien au contact de la surface circonférentielle des corps d'extension de pôle, la source de flux magnétique étant maintenue stationnaire par rapport aux corps d'extension de pôle rotatifs.
