A work glove is provided having an enclosure, such as a pocket, pouch or like structure disposed on the rear surface of a glove body. One or more magnets contained within the enclosure are provided for attracting and retaining work components against an exterior surface of the backside of the glove for convenient access during a construction or assembly operation. A flexible magnet insulating substrate is provided for insulating adjacent magnets from one another as well as for maintaining the magnets in a fixed spaced-apart relationship within the enclosure.
