ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The formation of bilsters on fusing a magnetically adhesive bituminous damping foil, that is privided with a hot melt adhesive layer on the underside to a body sheet at tempera- tures of apparoximately 190°C is prevented by embedding in the damping foil a flexible foil that is resistant to changes of tem- perature. For conventional damping foils having a thickness of up to 3 mm, the space between hot melting adhesive layer and foil should not be larger than 1 mm.
