- 23 - MAGNETICALLY CONTROLLED CARRIER WITH PHYSIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE AGENT AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THEREOF Abstract A magnetically controlled carrier with a physiolo- gically active agent is ferrocarbon particles comprising 10-90% by mass of Fe, carbon being the balance, and having the adsorption power at least of 6 mg/g by methylene blue, with a physiologically active agent adsorbed thereon. A process for preparing said carrier with a physiolo- gically active agent comprises heating iron powder in an oxidizing medium at a temperature of 800-1200°C, treating it with carbon monoxide at a temperature of 400-700°C to produce ferrocarbon particles which are then introduced in a solution of physiologically active agents followed by adsorbing said agents on the surface of the ferro- carbon particles.
