This contact lens storage unit (10) includes a body (20) having at least one cavity (22) with a top opening, at least one magnifying lens (30), and a fluid- tight closure lid fixedly attached at the top opening. The body (20) may further have a flange, such as a planar flange. The magnifying lens (30) may be within the flange, the cavity (22), the closure lid, or within any combination of these structures. The magnifying lens (30) has a predetermined magnification power for permitting viewing and inspection of the contact lens after removal of the contact lens from the storage unit. The body (20), flange, and/or closure lid may be optically transparent, and may fit exteriorly within an orbital aperture of a contact lens wearer's face.
La présente unité (10) de stockage de lentille de contact comprend un corps (20) qui possède au moins une cavité (22) pourvue d'une ouverture supérieure, au moins une lentille (30) à effet loupe, et un couvercle étanche attaché de façon fixe au niveau de l'ouverture supérieure. Ce corps (20) peut aussi posséder une collerette, telle qu'une collerette plane. La lentille (30) à effet de loupe peut être placée dans la collerette, la cavité (22), le couvercle ou dans une combinaison de ces structures. Cette lentille (30) à effet de loupe possède une puissance de grossissement prédéterminée permettant de voir et d'inspecter la lentille de contact après l'avoir retirée de l'unité de stockage. Le corps (20), la collerette, et/ou le couvercle peuvent être transparents, et peuvent s'adapter extérieurement à l'orbite d'un porteur de lentilles de contact.
