The present invention provides a skin treatment composition comprising a Mahonia aquifolium extract in a liposome delivery system. The Mahonia aquifolium extract is present in the skin treatment composition in a range of from 5% to 20% by weight of the total composition. The skin treatment composition is particularly effective in the treatment of psoriasis, eczema and other dry skin conditions. The invention further provides a process for obtaining an extract of Mahonia aquifolium.
La présente invention concerne une composition de traitement cutané comprenant un extrait de Mahonia aquifolium dans un système d'apport de liposomes. L'extrait de Mahonia aquifoliumest présent dans une composition de traitement cutané selon une quantité allant de 5 à 20 % en poids de la composition totale. Ladite composition se prête particulièrement au traitement du psoriasis, de l'eczéma et d'autres pathologies liées à la peau sèche. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé permettant d'obtenir un extrait de Mahonia aquifolium.
