ABSTRACT In a container for storing home delivered mail and newspapers, it is known to be a rectangular box fixed horizontally to a wall and to be opened via a lid on its top end. In this invention, the lid remains fixed and the front opens downward to allow full access to its storage compartment, The container with the pull-down compartment will enable the operator to easily deposit or retrieve all deliveries. The compartment is hinged such that the bottom can be raised enough to dump outward and still hold itself closed with its own weight.
