A pocket assembly (100) for use in a mailing machine. The pocket assembly is adapted to receive an ink cartridge and includes: a housing (110) defining a pocket for receiving the ink cartridge, a needle (102), a door (160) and a door mechanism (170). The housing has an open end and a closed end and includes a recess (116) extending away from the pocket. The needle is mounted to the housing closed end and protrudes into the pocket. The door is movably mounted to the housing and is located within the pocket. The door mechanism is operatively coupled with the door for repositioning the door between a closed position blocking access to the needle and an open position allowing access to the needle. The door is seated in the recess when in the closed position so that the door is less likely to be manually repositioned to the open position.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble poche (100) destiné à une machine à cacheter. Cet ensemble poche est adapté pour recevoir une cartouche d'encre et comprend un logement (110) définissant une poche destinée à recevoir une cartouche d'encre, une aiguille (102), une porte (160) et un mécanisme de porte (170). Ce logement possède une extrémité ouverte et une extrémité fermée et comprend une rainure-guide située à distance de la poche. L'aiguille est montée au niveau de l'extrémité fermée du logement et fait saillie dans la poche. La porte est montée mobile au niveau du logement et est située dans la poche. Le mécanisme de porte est couplé de façon opérationnelle à la porte afin de repositionner la porte entre une position fermée interdisant à l'aiguille d'accéder et une position ouverte permettant à l'aiguille d'accéder. La porte est assise dans la rainure-guide de sorte que cette porte est moins susceptible d'être repositionnée manuellement en position ouverte
