Emergency or maintenance kit (5) for orthodontic appliances gathering together an assortment of orthodontic instruments (9-13) for various types of maintenance and/or emergency procedures and operations on an orthodontic appliance. A ligature turner (9), a ligature pusher (10) and a ligature cutter (11) are mounted in rotation between the two sides (50, 51), serving as a handle to be inserted between the said sides or to be extracted from them by pivoting in a parallel plane to the said inside surfaces. The ligature turner (9) is made up of a curved arm (90), the extremity of which (91) is equipped with a notch (92) of a size to take hold of and secure a ligature (3). The ligature pusher (10) is made up of an arm (100), the extremity of which is in the form of a grooved plugger (101) and equipped with a notch (102) of a size to hook an archwire support elastic. The ligature cutter (11) is made up of a pair of rounded scissors. The kit also contains a spreading key (12) for adjusting the expansion screw and the tweezers (14).
Trousse (5) de maintenance ou d'urgence pour appareil orthodontique rassemblant un assortiment d'instruments orthodontiques (9-13) permettant d'effectuer différents types d'interventions et d'opérations de maintenance et/ou d'urgence sur un appareil orthodontique. Un tourne-ligature (9), un pousse-ligature (10) et un coupe-ligature (11) sont montés en rotation entre deux côtes latérales (50, 51) servant de poignée de manière à pouvoir être insérés entre lesdites côtes ou en être extraits en pivotant dans un plan parallèle auxdites faces internes. Le tourne-ligature (9) est constitué par un bras recourbé (90) dont l'extrémité (91) est munie d'une encoche (92) de dimension adaptée pour saisir et coincer une ligature (3). Le pousse-ligature (10) est constitué par un bras (100) dont l'extrémité est constituée en fouloir cannelé (101) et munie d'une encoche (102) de dimension adaptée pour crocheter un élastique de maintien d'arche porteuse (2). Le coupe-ligature (11) est constitué par une paire de ciseaux à bouts (110) arrondis. La trousse comporte en outre une clé à vérin (12) permettant d'ajuster la vis d'expansion et de précelles 14.
