A make up kit is arranged to be suspended from a person's neck and includes a neck support having resilient padded material thereon. The neck support is pivotal between a storage position wherein the support extends inwards within the housing and a usable position wherein the support extends outwards at an upwards incline for being supported on the person' neck and shoulders. A lid is pivotally mounted on a back end of the housing between the usable position and the storage position wherein the lid encloses the housing in the storage position and the lid extends outwards at an upwards incline in the usable position for supporting a mirror thereon. A chest support in the form of a rectangular plate is pivotally mounted to the front end of the housing and extends downwards from a bottom face of the housing in the usable position such that it rests against the person's chest.
