A porous fiber structure is consolidated by forming within a deposit of a refractory material by partially densifying the fiber structure in such a manner as to bond together the fibers of the fiber structure so as to enable the fiber structure to be handled without being deformed, while leaving empty the major fraction of the initial pore volume of the fiber structure, and rigid pins (10) are implanted through the consolidated porous structure (20). A blank is obtained by reinforcing a fiber structure by implanting pins or by bonding together consolidated fiber structures, the bonding being performed by implanting pins.
Une structure de fibres poreuses est renforcée en y formant un dépôt de matériau réfractaire, par densification partielle de la structure fibreuse de manière à lier les fibres pour que ladite structure soit traitée sans être déformée. Est laissée vide la fraction principale du volume de pore initial de la structure de fibres, et des chevilles rigides (10) sont implantées dans la structure poreuse renforcée (20). Un flan est obtenu en renforçant une structure de fibres en y implantant des chevilles ou en liant des structures de fibres renforcées, la liaison étant réalisée par implantation de chevilles.
