A coupling assembly including first and second members arrangeable between uncoupled and coupled positions. The first member has a receiving portion sized to receive at least a portion of the second member and internal threads provided therein. The second member has an exterior surface. A ratcheting locking member is disposed about the exterior surface of the second member and configured to move between locking and releasing positions. The ratcheting locking member is also biased to the locking position and has a retaining formation configured to mesh with and engage the internal threads of the first member. Upon insertion of the second member into the first member, the retaining formation of the ratcheting locking member progressively engages the internal threads of the first member, thereby locking the first and second members together.
L'invention concerne un ensemble de couplage comportant un premier et un second éléments pouvant passer d'une position non couplée à une position couplée. Le premier élément comporte une partie de réception dimensionnée pour recevoir au moins une partie du second élément dans lequel est disposé un filetage interne. Le second élément possède une surface extérieure. Un élément de verrouillage par encliquetage est disposé autour de la surface extérieure du second élément et conçu pour se passer d'une position de verrouillage à une position de libération. L'élément de verrouillage par encliquetage est également sollicité vers la position de verrouillage et possède une formation de retenue conçue pour s'engrener et engager le filetage interne du premier élément. Lors de l'introduction du second élément dans le premier élément, la formation de retenue de l'élément de verrouillage par encliquetage engage progressivement le filetage interne du premier élément, verrouillant ainsi le premier et le second éléments ensemble.
