Disclosed are methods for advantageously producing maleated polypropylenes having a relatively high percentage of bound maleic anhydride, base on the total amount of maleic anhydride moieties present in the grafting reaction product, and the maleated polypropylenes produced therefrom. The methods produce maleated polypropylenes wherein at least about 60% of the maleic anhydride moeities in the grafting reaction product are bound to the polypropylene.

L'invention concerne des procédés pour produire, de manière avantageuse, des polypropylènes à base de maléate, présentant un pourcentage relativement élevé d'anhydride maléique lié, en fonction de la quantité totale de fractions d'anhydride maléique présente dans le produit de réaction de greffage. L'invention traite aussi des polypropylènes à base de maléate selon lesquels au moins 60 % environ des fractions d'anhydride maléique dans le produit de réaction de greffage sont liées au polypropylène.
