A method and system employed by emergency responders to an emergency incident in the management of individuals injured in emergency incidents. An injured patient is tagged with a triage tag that has a bar code and an RFID inlay that identify the patient. At least one of the bar code and RHD inlay are scanned by a portable optical/electronic unit. As the patient is moved through various zones in which the condition of the patient is evaluated and, if necessary, the condition of the patient is treated, patient evaluation data is recorded in the in the portable optical/electronic unit and a command computer in association with patient identification data.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système employés par des répondeurs d'urgence pour la prise en charge d'individus blessés lors de situations d'urgence. Un patient blessé est marqué avec un marqueur de tri qui comporte un code à barres et une incrustation de RFID qui identifie le patient. Au moins l'un du code à barres et d'une incrustation de RHD sont balayés par une unité optique/électronique portative. Lorsque le patient est déplacé à travers différentes zones dans lesquelles l'état du patient est évalué et, si nécessaire, l'état du patient est traité, des données d'évaluation de patient sont enregistrées dans l'unité optique/électronique portative et commandent un ordinateur en association avec des données d'identification de patient.
