ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A manipulator device associated with an aerial cabin or platform has a pair of slave manipulator arms which are remotely controlled by a pair of master control arms operated by the operator in the cabin or platform. The slave manipu- lator arms are supported on the base by respective support units which allow the slave manipulator arms to move verti- cally, swing laterally outwardly, move horizontally away from and toward each other, or move back and forth with respect to the base. The slave manipulator arms are allowed to operate in a wide spatial range, they can well be manipulated dexter- ously to bring grips thereof into a desired position while avoiding obstacles which would otherwise be impossible to detour. The manipulator device can efficiently and easily perform various jobs or tasks which are complex and need accurate handling.
