ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A manipulator for parts which are to be moved during the opening and closing of an orifice provided with a cover comprises a driving device for moving a support along a guide parallel to the central axis of the orifice. A path-translating transmission is provided between the driving device and the support so that the stroke length of the driving device is shorter than the resultant path of the support.
