A manual breastpump (110) has a pump mechanism (116) for use in one mode of operation to produce an ejection (letdown) reflex in a nursing mother and in a separate mode of operation for the general expression of breastmilk. The breastpump (110) further provides a pump mechanism having an expansible chamber (152) device carried by the handle (142), which is operated by moving the handle relative to a handle mount (142). A double-pivot for the handle yields letdown mode as well as the general pumping mode.
L'invention concerne un tire-lait manuel pourvu d'un mécanisme de pompage destiné à être utilisé dans un mode de fonctionnement pour produire un réflexe d'éjection (d'évacuation) chez une mère qui allaite ainsi que dans un mode de fonctionnement séparé pour l'aspiration générale de lait maternel. L'invention concerne en outre un mécanisme de pompage comprenant un dispositif de chambre expansible porté par la poignée et dont l'actionnement s'effectue par déplacement de cette poignée par rapport à un support de poignée. Un double pivot ménagé pour ladite poignée permet de faire fonctionner ledit tire-lait en mode éjection ainsi qu'en mode de pompage général.
