A manual lifting/lowering device for a patient translocation apparatus, which makes the apparatus effective even when a power source or a piston means of the apparatus works abnormally, is disclosed. The manual lifting/lowering device comprises a slide, a lifter and a driving member. The lifter is movably received in the screw hole of the slide. The driving member is provided for driving the slide up or down.
