A manually operated reciprocating fluid pump comprising a pump housing (22) defining a pump chamber (38), a plunger (24), a piston (82) and a priming valve (92). The plunger (24) extends axially downwardly into the pump chamber (38). The piston (82) is on the plunger (24) and is reciprocally and axially slidable within the pump chamber (38) between a bottom stroke position and a top stroke position. The priming valve (92) is mounted on the plunger (24) radially inwardly of the piston (82) for movement with the plunger (24). A sealing plug (100) is moveable with the plunger (24) and is configured to seat against and seal closed the pump chamber (38) when the piston (82) is in its bottom stroke position to prevent fluid from flowing upward through the pump chamber (38). The priming valve (92) and sealing plug (100) are mounted on the plunger (24) in a manner to prevent axial movement of the priming valve (92) and sealing plug (100) relative to the plunger (24).

Le plongeur (24) s'étend axialement vers le bas dans la chambre de pompe (38). Le piston (82) est placé sur le plongeur (24) et peut coulisser de façon alternative et axiale à l'intérieur de la chambre de pompe (38) entre un temps de position basse et un temps de position haute. La vanne d'amorçage (92) et le bouchon de fermeture (100) sont montés sur le plongeur (24) de façon à empêcher le mouvement axial de la vanne d'amorçage (92) et du bouchon de fermeture (100) par rapport au plongeur (24).
