This invention relates to the manufacture of continuous- sheet, adhesively bonded paper laminates of three or more plies. The sheets are preferably made by flexographic printing using a novel controlled adhesive strike-through technique. The multi- ply laminates of this invention are especially suited for paper products such as disposable table napkins, since they can be printed to the edge without embossing or loss of registration.

Cette invention a trait à la fabrication de stratifiés de papier en continu liés par adhésif constitués de trois couches ou plus (1, 2, 3). On réalise ces feuilles, de préférence, par impression flexographique, en faisant appel à une nouvelle technique de traversée de colle (6, 7) régulée. Ces stratifiés à couches multiples sont particulièrement adaptés à des articles en papier comme des serviettes de table jetables, étant donné que l'on peut les imprimer sur le bord sans gaufrage ou perte de marge.
