ABSTRACT Non-whiteware ceramic articles having an increased green strength are prepared from slip compo- sitions containing, as an additive, a polyalkylene polyamine or a mixture of a polyalkylene polyamine and binder. An example of such an additive is tetraethylenepentamine or a mixture of tetraethyl- enepentamine and a styrene butadiene latex.
