Abstract Plastics pipe couplings comprising a plastics sleeve and sealing rings therein are integrally moulded in two-step injection moulding process employing movable core assemblies for moulding, in different core positions, the sealing rings and the sleeve. To enable the core assemblies and the moulded coupling to be separated by purely axial movement, the sealing rings and/or sleeve are provided with regions or increased internal diameter into which the sealing rings are deformed in the course of said movement. A peripheral groove in each core assembly for moulding the sealing ring is defined between two core members which can be separated to release the sealing ring before effecting the axial movement to release the moulded coupling.
