ABSTRACT MANUFACTURE OF PLASTICS ARTICLES A method for the manufacture of an article of moulded plastics material which may contain an embedded metallic component comprising forming a core of a material which melts at a temperature below that of the plastics material, moulding the plastics material around the core and then immersing the assembly of plastics material and core in a bath containing a heated salt solution for a time sufficient to remove the core material.
