A production machine for producing a heat source rod comprising a rod-like extrusion-molded item composed of a flammable material and having a plurality of axial grooves in the outer peripheral surface thereof, and a thermal insulation web wrapping the extrusion-molded item. The production machine is provided with a unit (10) for jetting water to the thermal insulation web (W) in the process of feeding the thermal insulation web (W) to a lapping section (4). The jet unit (10) comprises an air vibrator (12) provided with a vibration rod (34) and a flexible nozzle (36) extending through the vibration rod (34), fixed to it, and supplied with water from a metering pump (42). When the thermal insulating web (W) is being fed, water is jetted toward the thermal insulation web (W) from the forward end of the flexible nozzle (36) while the flexible nozzle (36) is reciprocating in the width direction of the thermal insulation web (W) through vibration of the vibration rod (34). Jetted water dissolves the binder of the thermal insulation fibers in the thermal insulation web to form a wet band (H) of wave shape continuous in the longitudinal direction of the thermal insulation web (W), thus providing an adhesive area for the extrusion-molded item.
La présente invention concerne une machine de production destinée à produire une tige de source de chaleur comprenant un élément moulé par extrusion en forme de tige composée d~une matière inflammable et présentant une pluralité de rainures axiales dans sa surface périphérique extérieure et un voile d~isolation thermique entourant l~élément moulé par extrusion. La machine de production est pourvue d~une unité (10) destinée à éjecter de l~eau vers le voile d~isolation thermique (W) au cours de l~introduction dudit voile (W) dans une section de recouvrement (4). L~unité d~éjection (10) comprend un vibrateur pneumatique (12) muni d~une tige de vibration (34) et une buse flexible (36) s~étendant à travers la tige de vibration (34), lui étant fixée, et alimentée en eau à partir d~une pompe doseuse (42). Quand le voile d~isolation thermique (W) est introduit, l~eau est éjectée vers celui-ci à partir de l~extrémité avant de la buse flexible (36) alors que ladite buse effectue un mouvement de va-et-vient dans le sens de la largeur du voile d~isolation thermique (W) par le biais de la vibration de la tige de vibration (34). L~eau éjectée dissout le liant des fibres d~isolation thermique dans le voile d~isolation thermique afin de former une bande humide (H) de forme ondulée continue dans la direction longitudinale dudit voile (W), fournissant ainsi une zone adhésive pour l~élément moulé par extrusion.
