Le procédé selon l'invention consiste, à partir d'une première installation, à étirer des filaments organiques sous forme d'une ou plusieurs nappes qui convergent vers un même point, à étirer, à partir d'une deuxième installation, des filaments de verre réunis en au moins un fil, ce dernier étant introduit latéralement dans la zone définie par les filaments organiques avant d'être associé auxdits filaments à leur point de convergence. Le fil composite obtenu est utilisé pour la réalisation de pièces renforcées.
