An efficient manufacturing method of not using the uranium as a raw material is provided as a method of manufacturing radioactive molybdenum 99Mo which is parent nuclide of radioactive technetium (99m Tc) which is a radioactive diagnosis medicine. 99Mo is manufactured efficiently by irradiating neutrons to the Mo solution in which Mo compound is dissolved in water in an irradiation capsule set up in the core of a nuclear reactor, generating 99Mo by 98Mo(n, .gamma.) reaction, and by collecting the Mo solution in continuous or batch processing.

L'invention concerne un procédé efficace de production de molybdène radioactif 99Mo qui représente un nucléide parent du technétium radioactif (99mTc) en tant qu'agent de diagnostic radioactif, dans lequel l'uranium n'est pas utilisé comme matière première. La production efficace de 99Mo est effectuée par irradiation avec des neutrons d'une solution aqueuse de Mo comportant un composé de Mo dissous dans l'eau dans une capsule d'irradiation disposée dans un cAEur de réacteur nucléaire de façon à générer du 99Mo par réaction du 98Mo(n,.gamma.) et en récupérant la solution de Mo en continu ou en discontinu.
